ABOUT

Joshua Beresford is a British artist living and working in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Joshua creates semi-abstract landscapes using mainly acrylics and pastels. He graduated with a First Class Honours Degree at Leeds School of Arts, Leeds Beckett University in Fine Art.

 

His paintings explore nature, landscape formations, geology, agriculture, ancient occupied land and patterns found within the natural world. Growing up on a small holding in a small hamlet near Skipton, North Yorkshire, the surrounding areas enriched with waving hills, farmland, moorland and natural beauty has always heavily influenced his work.

Joshua has exhibited in a variety of exhibitions within Yorkshire and London.
